Are You Easily Offended?

Embrace God’s Grace!

In our current culture, where social media plays a pivotal role in daily life, there’s an overwhelming influx of information reaching our minds. This torrent of data, opinions, and voices often creates a sense of anger or anxiety, leading many to react impulsively to the injustices they perceive.

Are we reacting or responding appropriately on social media? How can we harness the teachings of Christ to maintain composure, love, and wisdom in our online interactions?

The Bible’s guidance on this matter is clear. As 1 Peter 4:8 tells us, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

As believers, our witness is enhanced when we choose not to be so easily offended by social media posts.

With millions of people engaging with my content every week, negative comments are inevitable. However, it’s essential to recognize that we don’t know where the commenters are coming from or what they’re going through. By deciding not to be offended, we mirror Christ’s grace and compassion.

Even when we find ourselves at odds with our brothers and sisters in Christ, the Bible teaches us to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:2-3).

These truths lead us to a higher calling, one that transcends disagreements and controversies. It leads us to a summit, both metaphorically and literally.

The upcoming Pastors Summit is a haven where like-minded believers can come together, share wisdom, learn from others, and be equipped to be a voice for biblical truth in our nation. Currently the Pastors Summit is currently at MAX capacity, but you are still able to join the waitlist! Join today for this enriching experience and find strength, inspiration, and fellowship.
