Are You Prepared or Paranoid?

I have, throughout my lifetime, had to make decisions in situations that required use of force on multiple levels.

Now, as an older lion looking back, I still don’t like violence, but I have accepted its proper use against what I call the manifestation of evil.

All I can say is get, stay and be prepared. Don’t get hard of heart or paranoid, just prepared so you can live aware and free in your mind and safer in your space.

Practically speaking, train for strength, mobility and intense, explosive cardio output. Learn skills of striking, grappling edge weapons, firearms and weapons of opportunity.

Train yourself to have presence of mind under stress and unexpected situations.

Feeling afraid doesn’t mean you’re a coward, but make sure you respond appropriately and responsibly.

Be prayerful and avoid conflict, if possible. But if it’s the best solution, then allow the dangerous gentleman in you to release that savage saint to do what must be done.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” — Ephesians 6:10-11.
