Loving others in Christ means not only helping them learn their true identity, but also setting them free from strongholds through the authority He’s given us!

Satan is the god of this world, so that’s why it’s broken. There’s another part to that and it has to do with the fact that the heart of man is deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9).

But I believe the biggest reason there’s not a level of freedom — even in the Church — is that most people have strongholds in their life that are demonic.

I’m not talking about possession by an evil spirit, but demonic assignments against people, and if we do anything really well, it has to be setting people free from these strongholds.

I can pray with anybody and within 5 to 8 minutes, on average, they can be free. They’ll know what lies they were believing, they’ll know how long it’s been there, and we counter it with the Truth.

Unfortunately, in too many churches, we see no power from the pulpit against these attacks of the enemy. We see plenty of problems, like porn addiction, etc.

It’s time for believers to wake up and operate in the gifts God has given us, and driving out demonic assignments in one all of us should be willing and able to do.

Just make sure you’re armored up, know how to use the sword of the Spirit (God’s Word), know the authority given you in Christ Jesus, and you are in tune with the Holy Spirit!
