Don’t Have A Devotion? Here’s Where To Start

A lot of folks tell me they don’t know where to start when it comes to having a devotion to dive into the Word with and if you are one of those people you are in luck. Thankfully our all knowing, always present and gracious Father in heaven knew that might be the case so he put one in his word!

That’s right, if you do not know where to turn when it comes to reading a devotion, God installed one right into your very own Bible. And it is the book of Proverbs.

Proverbs is not only wise and encouraging pieces of scripture from the Old Testament but it also contains thirty one chapters. Perfectly orchestrated by God to give you a perfect starting point in your devotion and granting you a chapter to read for every day in the month.

The book of Proverbs has helped me in the good times, it has helped me in the bad times and the way the Lord has used it to speak into my life personally never ceases to amaze me…

Don’t use the “I don’t know where to start” excuse when it comes to reading your Bible. God knew that would happen already so he gave us his WORD and to equip us with his Love daily…
